GREYMATTER MOBILE

Transforming Incident Response on the Go

In 2022, I joined the GreyMatter Mobile project at ReliaQuest. Early mockups and concepts had been developed to secure customer feedback and business buy-in. My role was to expand upon these concepts and develop comprehensive workflows to support analysts responding to cybersecurity threats. Through iterative mockups and user testing sessions, including collaborations with organizations like McDonalds, Hanes, and the Boston Celtics, we successfully launched the app, delivering significant value to customers.

Post-launch, I focused on enhancing the app’s UI/UX, integrating new features, and ensuring it met user needs. Despite being a free, supplementary tool to the desktop app and not a required resource, GreyMatter Mobile has achieved notable success: 75% of customers are now monthly active users, and 45% of incidents are resolved directly within the mobile app. Customers are choosing to use the mobile app for its efficiency, which has also led to a 30% improvement in response times, making it an essential tool for faster incident resolution.

GreyMatter Mobile has become a standout product for ReliaQuest, recognized as a key differentiator in the cybersecurity industry. Its success has earned it notable visibility, including features in ESPN commercials, airport marketing campaigns, and other promotional materials. The app’s widespread adoption and measurable impact exemplify innovation and customer value, solidifying its role as a cornerstone of ReliaQuest’s offerings.
